And the last one for tonight since it gets a bit boring. Found this one in a blog and actually it took me some time till i realized the original version of this song. However the cover of Nevergreen is well made. The band Black who made the song in the first place is definitely unknown to me. Most likely a one-hit-wonder.

La isla bonita from Madonna is probably one of the most famous songs of her. It was published in 1986 and was covered multiple times since then. The first version of Twilight Guardians is well made apart from the guitar solo. The SoaD version isn’t serious business but fun anyway.

And here we go again. I have just found the cover for Journey’s Don’t stop believing. It’s not bad at all, but i think the original one has much more charm and character. And even though i am a metal head i think this oldie belongs to one of my most favorite songs.

Sorry for the crappy links, but again the videos left on YouTube suck donkey balls since most major labels remove copyrighted material pretty fast. Btw if you haven’t got your hands on Reveleation, Journey’s most recent CD with remakes of all the oldies and goldies, you should definitely check it out.

Yeeeah. But wait a second. I have no idea where to start since there are shitloads of good metal covers of good, bad and ugly songs. Maybe start with good one, which isn’t really metal but still worth a word or two. Yep. I am talking about Alien Ant Farm’s cover of Michael Jackson’s  Smooth Criminal. And since most vidoes on YouTube have had a infuckingcredible bad audio output i took the least crappy one with at least a small sense of humor.

One of the best songs ever, in fact it was voted the 35th best song’s solo of all-time by the Guitar World magazine, has just become a tiny little bit better. And for god’s sake i think i will soon start a “Metal Cover Mega Post”, which i should have been done ages ago.
